The Beginning
Round Rock Rubies began with one dog and a lifelong love of poodles. I'd been drawn to the breed for years, and when I finally started looking for one of my own, I went back and forth between the gray and the red — until I met Ruby. She was an AKC-certified red Standard Poodle I found through Good Dog, and the moment I met her, I knew she was coming home with me.
Ruby is everything I love about this breed: smart, affectionate, beautiful, and full of personality. As she grew, I started thinking about giving her the experience of motherhood — something I believe is genuinely good for a dam's health and wellbeing — and about sharing the breed I love with families who would cherish a poodle the way I do.
That's how Round Rock Rubies was born.
The Values
My values as a breeder
I'm a person of faith, and I care deeply about the wellbeing of animals and the families who welcome them. I'm health-focused in every part of my life — for myself, my family, and my pets — and that carries through to how I raise Ruby's puppies. I'm not looking to place puppies with just anyone. I'm looking for the right homes: families and individuals who have the time, the heart, and the lifestyle to give a Standard Poodle the life it deserves.
When you adopt a puppy from me, I'd love to stay in touch. I want to know how your puppy is growing, see the photos, and be a resource for you for the life of your dog. This isn't a transaction for me — it's the beginning of a relationship.
